Unusually for a decommissioned lifeboat hotel (wow, I've talked about a lot of unique hotels that this phrase doesn't even seem strange) this one continues to be functioning. You can employ a captain to take you, your lover and your whole hotel out into the open sea. Since sounds fun! This lifeboat saw service for more than 3 decades included in England's royal coastguard. It performed 105 rescue operations and saved 45 people from drowning. It was saved itself from the scrap yard by a Dutch lifeboat enthusiast who restored it and moored it in Harlingen Harbor. Now it'll rescue you from mundane hotels. You'll find two cabins below deck that are split into a sitting room and bedroom. You can fix yourself breakfast using catering facilities found in the cockpit. There are many local restaurants and sauna that you should visit and also the Hannema museum to understand more about. Wonderful.
