If you are a fan of heritage hotels, then you're in for a treat. Pulitzer Amsterdam is really a recently renovated hotel occur 25 interlinked canal houses dating from 17th and 1700s. You can enjoy a floating picnic while admiring the city in the canals and trying to sneak a peak in to the houseboats.
Despite Amsterdam's food scene being among the best in Europe, the inhouse restaurant Jansz. still deserves a visit. They serve modern classics in beautiful interiors and with an even more beautiful view. During the day make sure to reserve some time for a coffee at Pause – a comfortable café within the hotel's hidden garden oasis. And finally, the old-timey Pulitzer's Bar with heavy leather chairs and bartenders in bowties is a superb place for a nightcap.
