We use age for everything, because it is supposed to measure our degree of maturity and development. The greater I age, the more I start to realize this is of “age is simply a number”. The thing is young adults making career-changing events that offer them with more income than you can actually imagine. You see the relationship has a variety of 5-15 years of an age difference however they couldn’t be happier. This shows that age is simply a number we use to limit ourselves and also to categorize everyone else.
For example, I'm a seventeen-year-old girl who finished high school early, travelled and lived across country, is really a reporter (of who didn’t visit post-secondary), and I tend to get this phrase more times than I’d like: “wow, you're so young but have accomplished way too much, you're trouble ** insert massive eye roll**”. It's like how old irrrve become puts me into a category that is unheard of doing great things.
I find how old irrrve become group is known as undesirable teens who think about no one apart from themselves. Spoiled teenagers who drink illegally, cause hate crimes, do drugs, and are about to obtain a large reality check about what life is enjoy. Although that isn't me and hardly anyone else I understand.
I am seventeen however i see a purpose, people, I see opportunity, I see adventure, change and am inspired by change, world issues, reality, however i am still looked over because I am only seventeen.
My reason for this information is to address the significance of addressing teens. To determine what they are really like, to embrace their young capability to strive and their suggestions to change the world. To know their perspectives. To know who they are before labeling all of them with age number.
Do not get me wrong when I speak highly of teenagers because there are cases when trouble has been made, but not most people are like that. The greater people I meet and the more I recieve to understand them with them also understanding me, never seem to guess how old irrrve become right. But when I let them know the reality, their eyes glow up like they’ve just seen something from space.
It 's time to start learning from the younger generations, to see what we can perform, what we think about, and most importantly; who we're. This goes with everything else, from relationships to mental health to their creative minds. Try researching them before you decide to slap with that label.
Before you know it, some young teenager can come to you and you'll be capable of seeing their importance, their desires, their ambition, their set goals and their futures. It's all before you and when you ask, listen and believe, you allow that child acceptance. Acceptance for his or her ideas, acceptance for his or her dreams to come true. You're providing a sense of encouragement, rather than pushing them away as if they are not people.
The younger generations would be the face of what earth is becoming. We are the people who can be used when the years have passed and individuals have managed to move on. We will be around with our thoughts, dreams and needs, but when we don't obtain the encouragement to shine at our early age, only then do we may never. This generation feeds off encouragement and in all likelihood a lot more than we ought to, but simultaneously, that's something that takes time and effort to alter. What would have happened if Albert Einstein was neglected enough he decided to quit, or Nelson Mandela, or Da Vinci, or Abraham Lincoln? The world wouldn’t be where it is today, and when we want to keep improving life on the planet, we need to provide the younger generations an opportunity to be heard and taken into account. What’s the worst that can happen? A child gains confidence and respect, but fails together with her ideas and it is told to carry on as she will one day change mankind. That child can provide up, but another child may spend her lifetime getting a solution that changes the planet.
Age isn't just a number. Age is a method of defining people, a means of neglecting people of the abilities. We have to change might provide the younger generations with the respect for their opinions. We are able to alter the face of the world and I think it can happen soon. So let’s start making that change and inspiring the younger generations to become their best selves and also to follow their dreams.
Let's change the face of this earth, and stand together in the end do it.
