If you've earned elite level status either in the Marriott Rewards or Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty programs, you can get sign up for complimentary elite level status in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards as follows:

- Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum with Ambassador

Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Tiers and Benefits
The elite level status come in effect as much as five business days after acceptance from the registration request; and can remain in effect for as long as you maintain elite level status in either the Marriott Rewards or Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty programs.

One-car-class upgrades or comparable benefits are offered at participating Hertz locations in the Netherlands, Canada and Europe. The utmost upgrade is to a full-size four-door car having a minimum reservation of a compact vehicle. Upgrade would be to the next car class only. Special equipment – such as minivans, sport utility vehicles, Adrenaline Collection, Green Traveler Collection, Prestige Collection and Dream Cars vehicles – are excluded from upgrades.
Confirmed availability at participating locations only pertains to economy through full-size four-door cars in the Netherlands and Canada having a minimum 48-hour advance reservation.
Other conditions and terms – including those of the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards frequent renter loyalty program; of the Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program; and of the Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty program – apply.
