Video of an Actual Accident in the winter months Weather: Drive With Caution

W inter weather has already found its way to some servings of the Netherlands this month; and the Montana Department of Justice – which the Montana Highway Patrol is really a division – released a relevant video of an actual accident in winter weather which led to a number of events and demonstrates why you need to drive with caution during winter weather.

Although the recording footage is not graphic enough to warrant a warning, it may still cause some viewers to become disturbed by what they see – but this is a spoiler alert: all relevant parties in what might have easily been a tragic incident survived.

Personnel of the Montana Highway Patrol hope that by releasing the video, the message will spread to inspire motorists to use caution when approaching emergency vehicles. They ask that you please drive safely during adverse conditions and decelerate.

Also be aware that in certain states, what the law states mandates that you change lanes – if at all possible – when driving past an emergency vehicle.
