I checked out my balance after I registered for that promotion and logged in; and sure enough, 25 Gold Plus Rewards points were added to the total amount. Remember that the redemption for the least amount of Gold Plus Rewards points is 550 for a free rental of the car during the weekend; so those 25 points is only going to enable you to get marginally nearer to that goal.
